Over the past years, I've been very fortunate to have advice, guidance and information on many different topics across the farming spectrum. From improving our soil, grass management ,and Slurry utilization, to personal development and business understanding. Farming Connect has been a great support to me and the farm.
By far one of the best things I've done through farming connect Is their Agri Academy, This is a group of 13 people who are passionate about agriculture, and keen to see how to improve their businesses. I was very fortunate to have such a great bunch in my year, which I think had every sector covered from sheep, beef, chickens, dairy and many diversification projects in between. We had several organized weekends away together, looking at different businesses, personal development, and business development. The speakers we had, and all the visits were brilliant right the way through, however the people on the course are what made it for me. Having so many people who are like-minded and passionate about agriculture as well as great business people, is truly infectious and makes me want to continue to strive forward with everything we do here at Milk Churn.
